Powerslide the game.
Tracks: When the game begins, you have access to three tracks. As you win different Championship levels, more tracks will become available to you.

Powerslide lets you drive anywhere you want in the environment. You can stick close to the tracks or you can drive off and explore, maybe find a faster line, or an area for stunts you never know what might be around that next corner. Youll get different traction on different surface types, so expect some sliding and spinning out on the ice and mud!

How to Unlock the Tracks:
  • Sandblaster, Speedway, The Dam Track - These are available from the Begining.
  • Devils Elbow, Mineshafted - You have to win the Novice Championship to gain access to these two.
  • The Freezer, Urban Brawl, Nutopia, Stunt Track - You have to win the Advanced Championship to unlock the last four.
  • Luge - Winning the Expert Championship will give you the Luge Track.
  • Aztec, Seven - These are multiplayer tracks and available from the begining but only in multiplayer mode.

The Tracks of Powerslide
[ Sandblaster | Speedway | The Dam Track | Devils Elbow | Mineshafted | The Freezer | Urban Brawl | Nutopia | Luge | Stunt ]

Sandblaster

The Sand Blaster track bears testament to the devastation wrought on unsuspecting towns when the biosphere underwent systemic ecological collapse. Deserts have encroached on what used to be lush farmlands. The searing heat has destroyed the landscape and scorching winds have blown sand through once thriving townships. There aren't many tight corners on this track and it's got some long stretches of rolling sand dunes to power over. Rooftops in the
deserted town can be hit as jump ramps. There's more to the Sand Blaster than racing - go for a drive over the dunes, try a little rock climbing, or even free-fall aerial stunts from the cliff tops.

Length: medium
Track surface: sand/asphalt

Speedway

Once, the Speedway track was the hub for the local sprint car racers. Now the stadium seats are empty, the stands are broken down, and the track itself has fallen into disrepair. Scenes of brutal violence off-track have rendered the area unsafe for any but the most dedicated of racers. On the tight circuit of the speedway, there is no escape from intense rivalry. Here the ferals take out their frustrations and pent up rage on their more affluent opponents from
the corporation Nutopia. Competitors from both sides know that to keep ahead of their opponents they need to maintain the tightest of inside lines. Learn to powerslide on this track. Go left.

Length: very short
Track surface: dirt/mud

The Dam Track

When the earth was fried, many of the world's waterways dried up, and left harsh wastelands of dried, cracked mud, devoid of trees or life. This once full dam lost billions of gallons of water in the eco-catastrophe and is nothing but a relic of a by-gone era when water was easily available and uncontaminated. Constant driving up the outside wall may lead to its eventual collapse, but until then the Powersliders will abuse it all they want. The track is short and fast.
Different terrain types offer significantly different racing lines. Staying off the gravel may take you wider on a corner, but give you a faster exit. You have to explore to find out.

Length: short
Track surface: dirt/mud/asphalt/concrete/gravel

Devils Elbow

Years of clear felling by logging companies have left a landscape of degradation and neglect in these mountains. The brothers Chain and Blade, devastated freaks of nature themselves, used to roam these lunar landscapes, stealing food when they couldn't find it, resorting to unspeakable acts of violence in their quest to survive in this brutal world. Together they have laid out a track which twists and turns through the mountains, using old logging roads. Even the biggest
risk-takers find it helps to apply the brakes. Powersliders who have taken too much gravel on some corners have been lost forever. It pays to get the corner combinations lined up right on this track.

Length: medium
Track surface: dirt/mud/asphalt

Mineshafted

This track rocks. The abandoned mines of the DRT Mining Company, once a dominant force on the world industrial stage, have become a playground for the Powerslide generation. Showing little regard for safety, competitors race through a maze of underground tunnels left by the mining giant. Everything is not always as it seems and Powersliding ferals have uncovered radioactive toxic waste-dumps, leaking their poison into the earth deep within the
mountain's interior. As a taunt to their less adventurous corporate rivals, the feral racers have ensured the track passes through this most evil and glowing mess of toxicity. Then the track shoots out into the above ground slag heaps and ore processing area and hit the biggest jump in living memory. It's rough, and it's fast. There are multiple racing lines, especially through the slag heaps.

Length: medium
Track surface: gravel/rock/dirt/slime

The Freezer

It's a deceptively clean looking environment in the alpine regions, but don't let that fool you - the snow is as toxic as the rest of the world and will eat the paintwork of a car (or your face) the same as the acid rain on the plains. This former winter playground for the rich and famous packs in some pretty mean powersliding now. Running mostly on snow, ice and mud, it's a slippery challenge. Powersliders have learnt to keep clear of the snow banks close to the cliff faces
- it'll turn you on your roof pretty damn quick if you go too close.

Length: Long
Track surface: ice/dirt/mud

Urban Brawl

Towering monoliths stand empty in this once thriving metropolis. Abandoned by the rich and given over to the feral rat pack of survivors who eke out an existence above ground, the city has been turned into a wild race track, full of tight corners and mean jumps, using multistorey parking lots, underground sewers, stairs and anything else that got in the way. Not for the faint hearted, this track requires tight control
and a deft touch with the steering. The parking lot will kill you.

Length: Medium
Track surface: asphalt/cement/dirt/slime

Nutopia

In a world where UV radiation levels spell death to all but the hardiest of creatures, corporate enclaves carry on their business underground, leaving their poorer cousins to fry and die in the desolate above ground world. Almost all corporations have banned Powerslide competitions and will arrest anyone caught competing. The only exception is the Nutopians, who have allowed the competition in a bid to develop and test
their radical new engine technologies ahead of their rivals. The street track in the enclave blasts through residential and shopping areas, briefly emerges above ground, and makes good use of a huge ventilation tunnel.

Length: Medium
Track surface: asphalt/gravel/dirt

Luge

Off the maps of Powerslide the Feral and Nutopia groups head for the slopes for some fast and high flying competition. From barrel rolls and loop da loops, to flat out speed and distance jumping, all your sliding skill is on the line. One little mistake will flip you up over the rails, lay you spinning on your back in the tubes, catapulting of the jump sideways and backwards, or stick you face to face in an up close and personal chat with the snowman.
Only the most courageous venture here, or those for a taste of the extreme rush of running down the icy surface at full speed. If you make it to the bottom in one piece circle around the ski lodges or take a drive to the snowy mountain tops.

Length: Medium
Track surface: Ice

Stunt

Purely a fun track to test your vehicle physics on. There is so much area to explore on this track that it could take you an hour to see it all. Mainly used for Fox and Hound events the stunt track also serves as a good challenge for doing, well, stunts! A favorite of most is to fire off straight ahead toward the loop ramp with the skid marks on the surface. If you land correctly you will come down on the opposing ramp that was to your left, then drive through the shed
and up over the ramp as fast as you can to clear the remains of the burned out cars. If and that's a big if, if you make this jump head up the wall and land on the ramp that was to your right. Take a stroll in the warehouse dipping in and out of the swimming pools, or head for the dirt pit. At the far right of the track you will see a water tower, see if you can find out how to get inside.
